In the absence of more match details, this will be brief.
Our Men's D played against the American Club and came away 3-1 winners.
Bravely led by an under-the-weather Hansel playing at the No.1 slot, the sick man still managed to steal a set in a 1-3 defeat against his AC opponent, a basic player who retrieved most of the shots Hansel played. Despite the loss, Hansel was instrumental in the team's 3-1 win because his presence strengthened the UCSC line-up at the Nos. 2-4 slots. Our travelling UCSC-sian, Daryl Arnold, was present to bring home a 3-1 result at No. 2 while E-graders, Chris Yap and Tyrone Almeida, both moved up to support the D squad and both came good. Chris cruised to a 3-1 victory while Tyrone romped home 3-0.
Well done, 'D'estroyers!
